Since I started using TweetDeck, I hardly ever visit my Twitter account. What about you? Have you spent any time at your official Twitter profile lately?
Pay Attention To These Key Areas on Your Official Twitter Account
Attention to at least three of them contributes favorably to branding your local business online while branding your Twitter identity.
- Selecting a Background
- Re-writing Your Twitter Bio (or writing one for the first time)
- Checking Who Has Automatic Access
When I first set up my CoachNotesBlog account I spent a fair amount of time selecting a Twitter background. Its one of the free ones offered by Twitr Backgrounds but I think it looks like a hundred bucks! (It’s the Walk In The Park Background. )
What I hadn’t spent much time on was writing a bio, so I gave that some attention. And I also checked to see which apps had automatic access to send out tweets on my behalf.
These are some of the activities you don’t get around to if you never visit your official Twitter account.
I cover a fourth area of importance in the article Tight, Targeted, Twitter: Pruning Your Official Profile in my LocalBusinessCoachOnline.com blog.
